Different people may think they are subject of said subject but songwriter can attest that, in a particular case, this song was written well before paths with such crossed. They are certain, in fact, that song is not about an individual they were ever involved with, speculating that lyrics for song could likely have been inspired by the romantic travails of a friend.*
